New York to Conakry: The Docu-Series

‘New York To Conakry: The Docu-Series’ is about a group of African-American dancers and drummers that traveled from New York to Guinea in 2017 to participate in a cultural exchange that changed their lives forever. In 2019 during the “Year of the Return”, they ALL came back, only this time with friends. Film director, musician, and creator Rich McKeown who, along with his co-producer Peter Hucey, bring to the industry to Guinea, West Africa to learn about the diverse, amazing culture and it’s warm, beautiful people who are drenched with talent.
